I recognized two things at a young age. The first was that I wanted to become a professional artist. The second was that I couldn't draw. This delayed me for quite some time. I filled that time pursuing other artistic interests such as music and writing, but the urge to draw never left me. At age 19 I began to study classical drawing, which led me to kindle a love for painting and illustration. I haven't looked back since. My experience includes books, film, animation, and advertising. My clients include: Walt Disney Publishing Worldwide, LEGO, LucasArts, Mattel Toys, Fisher-Price, Hasbro, Nelvana, GURU Studio, C.O.R.E. Digital Pictures, Yowza! Animation Inc., Pipeline Studios, and more.

My passion lies in teaching artists the fundamental principles that make great art. Through my courses and community, I've helped over hundreds of thousands of students worldwide develop their skills and pursue their artistic dreams.
